 Hired this company to paint my home, at a fee of $8000, not including paint, which I purchased separately. I paid the first half in advance, and said I would pay the second half once the project was half complete. Well, they did not do a good job at all! They showed up everyday after 11:00 am, usually left before 5:00. They only worked a total of 10 days. They got paint all over the brand new floors, as well as hardwood. Left a huge mess. Then Dan asked for more payment after the basement was mostly complete, but no trim or doors, or the washroom done, and the other 2 floors were not done, but I sent them $1000 in good faith to keep the project going (We have lots of Reno timelines, which they were delaying). Well, needless to say, after texting me asking for MORE than the agreed upon $8000, I had to let them go. Now they are refusing to return the $1000. I am not even asking for a refund for the terrible 1/3 they did, or the damage to the floors! Only the money I sent in good faith. I don’t want some other poor family stuck like we are!
